PRAYING THE ROSARY

A long tradition of praying the Rosary is continued daily, Monday - Sunday at 8:30 am.  In praying the Rosary, Catholics reflect on the following mysteries:

 

Mondays & Saturdays:

Joyful Mysteries
Annunciation, Visitation, Nativity,  Presentation in the Temple,  Finding Jesus in the Temple

Tuesday & Friday:

Sorrowful Mysteries
Agony in the Garden, Scourging at the Pillar, Crowning with Thorns, The Carrying of the Cross, Crucifixion

Wednesday & Sunday:

Glorious Mysteries
The Resurrection, the Ascension, The Decent of the Holy Spirit, The Assumption of Mary into Heaven,  The Crowning of Mary as Queen of Heaven

Thursday:

Luminous Mysteries
The Baptism of Jesus, The Wedding at Cana, The Proclamation of the Kingdom, The Transfiguration, The Holy Eucharist.
