Why Catholic? A Journey Through the Catechism is a series of neighborhood faith sharing meetings.  The program was introduced to the parishes of the Jackson Diocese in the Spring of 2008.  St. Mary Basilica Parish has chosen to participate in the program which is designed by RENEW International. Other parishes in the area include: Holy Family, Natchez; Assumption Parish, Natchez; St. Ann Parish, Fayette; St. Joseph Parish, Woodville; Holy Family Parish, Gloster.

Small Faith Community meetings will begin the week of October 12, 2008.
