OUR PLAN
We plan to develop a Family Life Center on church-owned property to provide for the educational, social and spiritual needs of our congregation members. This facility will include a youth wing, a new kitchen, new restrooms, an assembly area to accommodate 300 people, classrooms, meeting rooms, a parish library, a state-of-the-art nursery, offices and a gift shop. The green space on the outside will be made safe for children by installing a wrought iron fence.
OUR THEME
The theme, Our Faith, Our Vision, Our Mission, tells us that faith is our starting point; our understanding of the need enables us to formulate a vision; and our mission is to strive to meet the spiritual and pastoral needs of the St. Mary congregation.
OUR HOPE
Our preference is that we undertake the whole project at one time rather than completing it in phases. We have already completed the new restroom section, and we will begin work on the new kitchen as soon as planning is completed. The construction of the new youth wing will have a high priority. The response to our capital campaign will determine if we will undertake the full project or if we will do it in phases.
OUR REQUEST
We are asking every household, all adult income earners, former parish members, and the adult children of present members who live away from the Natchez area to make a gift or a pledge to the capital funding campaign. We depend on the generosity and prayers of our parishioners and friends, and we continue to ask for and welcome pledges and gifts. We also gladly accept memorial and honor gifts.
