St. Mary Basilica Choirs
The Adult Choir, under the direction of Dr. Patrick Doherty, sings during the 10:00 am Mass on Sundays except during the summer months. The choir practices on Wednesday evening at 7:00 pm. During the summer months, a cantor leads the congregation at each of the weekend Masses.
The Children’s Choir practices on Monday afternoons at Cathedral School and leads the singing at one Saturday Vigil Mass each month. This choir is directed by Mr. Alvin Shelby.
New members are welcome and invited to join or assist with any one of these groups.
