Mass Schedule

Sunday Obligation to Attend Holy Mass Restored

The obligation to attend Holy Mass on Sundays and Holy Days of Obligation has been restored by Bishop Kopacz, effective June 5, 2021. This means that starting this weekend, all are once again obligated to attend Holy Mass every Sunday (or Saturday evening) and every Holy Day of Obligation.

To willingly choose something else over attending Mass will once again be a mortal sin. Bishop Kopacz reminds everyone, though, that if you are battling illness or a compromised immune system, you are still validly dispensed of the obligation to attend Mass for your safety and the safety of others.
