RESTORING THE SACRED

Since 1842, Our Lady’s Basilica has welcomed pilgrims, parishioners, and visitors drawn by the beauty of our worship and the presence of Christ. The Restoring the Sacred Capital Campaign is our opportunity to preserve this holy place for future generations. With your support, we will renew the Basilica’s structure, music, and mission — ensuring it remains a place of prayer and sacred beauty in the heart of the South.

Campaign Goals:

Phase I - Exterior Restoration ($2.6M)

  • Repointing and sealing masonry

  • Waterproofing concrete elements

  • Restoring historic windows

  • Installing laminated protective glass

Phase II - New Pipe Organ ($600K)

  • Replacing aging digital organ

  • Custom-designed to match original organ facade

  • Built to last for generations of sacred worship

Phase III - Endowment (Stretch Goal)

  • Ensures ongoing maintenance and sacred programming

  • Establishes long-term financial stability for the Basilica
